Supper Sequence at Veritas

Our Menu

LOVED the tomato salad with candy chili, basil, and garlic. Tomatoes at their most interesting!

We additionally loved chickpeas with summer season eggplant.

And cioppinno with contemporary seafood and shaved fennel.

And dessert was a Basque Goat Cheese Cheesecake. (TBH, the tomato jam was not my favourite!)

Nature Hike

On Saturday Thomas and I took Birch on a nature hike to Ivy Creek. This candy baby was SO EXCITED to go mountain climbing!

He beloved throwing rocks in creek.

Tortoise and the Hare

Birch additionally was very proud to win 4th place in a youngsters operating dash for his age group at a youngsters monitor membership! Go Birch!

I used to be proud to only end my run after I did a small group session at ACAC. I’m respectable at weights, stairs, and agility, however man operating the monitor sucked the life out of me!! Patrick and I tied for reddest face although!

Mazen has been loving his fishing camp once more this 12 months. He despatched me this pic of 1 he caught on a really inexperienced pond!

We FINALLY made it to the pool after many makes an attempt that began with blue skies and ended like this by the point we obtained there. Principally a pool on our porch!

However we loved a wonderful Sunday with no rain final weekend. I fulfilled my dream of doing my three favourite pool actions: studying, floating on a raft with out getting tipped over, and consuming watermelon!

Fishwife

Fishwife despatched me a few of their tinned fish being the sardine lover that I’m: Albacore Tuna, Sardines in Lemon, and Smoked Trout. All three have been wonderful! Plus are these not the prettiest packages ever?!

We loved sardine salad on the finish of our hike.

Kath Eats Summer season Meals

Sunday dinner: Roasted dill salmon, rosemary potatoes, and caprese tomatoes.

The most effective Blue Apron skillet dinner. I’m going to recreate this! It was like a deconstructed enchilada.

One other Blue Apron winner: tacky hen, beans, and garlic bread.

Mozzarella and heirloom tomato sandwich with summer season cherries

And Holly’s birthday brunch at Birch and Bloom! Cherished the deconstructed smoked salmon toast.

We’re heading to the seashore tomorrow for one final summer season hurrah and a household reunion with Thomas’s aspect. Then it’s just about again to highschool!
